How to delete viruses from the device

Without the knowledge and against their desires, a person can download a program, or a piece of code, on another computer, and these programs, called viruses, can repeat themselves. Some viruses may use available memory, or system hangs, such as simple viruses, and may be transmitted over networks and bypass security systems, such as dangerous viruses. And many anti-virus programs have now spread, after a virus struck the network used by the US Department of Defense, and several universities, known as Arbant, in 1987. It is possible to know if the device is infected with a virus by:

- Browser crash and instability: Some signs may appear when using the browser, such as suddenly closing or stopping responding, new tools being added to the toolbar, unrelated websites opening, or clicking on a link and not responding.

- Poor system performance: computer performance might be impaired, such as an internet connection stops, the device has stopped working and taking a long time to respond, blocking some programs from downloading or updating, adding icons, or installing suspicious software on the desktop.

- Advertisements: Ads are displayed permanently, whether the browser is closed, or open, as new pages and search results are opened only to display ads.

Use antivirus software
Removing malware and viruses, as well as closing security holes in Windows, is done by:

 - Click the Start button, then choose the control panel, including selecting the Internet.
 - Choose Network and Sharing, then set up the adapter in the right column.

- Scanning for viruses: From the programs, you must choose the downloaded antivirus program, then choose Scan for the Endpoint Security Properties screen to appear on request - full scan, then choose all disks to scan and start, and at the end of the scan you must record the names of the detected viruses.

Enabling System Restore: This step is similar to disabling System Restore, but on the System Protection screen you should choose Restore Settings, then double-click the OK button.
Reconnecting the computer to the network: If the network is wired, the cable must be put back in. In the wireless network, you must choose a connection on the wireless network screen that was opened when the network was disabled.

Delete viruses from an Android phone

Phone viruses that run on the Android system can be deleted when the phone malfunctions during its operation, or it is not possible to install some applications in the store (Google play), without losing data, such as pictures, games, text messages, and others in several ways, namely:

 Use antivirus software

Android system devices provide a program called (Google Play protect), which scans applications and malware in the device. Some programs, such as: Malwarebytes and Bitdefender Antivirus Free, are considered safe antivirus programs. Reliable websites should be used to download software, not to click on ads, and also to monitor application permissions.

 Using the manual method
The steps of the manual way to remove viruses from an Android phone are:

Entering Safe Mode: In two ways, they are:
- The phone works normally: pressing the power button continuously until a menu appears, then operating in safe mode after continuing to press the off button, then choosing OK, and the safe mode mark appears in the lower-left corner of the phone often.
- The phone does not operate normally: When the phone logo appears after continuously pressing the play, raise and lower the volume buttons together, the power button should be left only when the device mark appears and continues to press the volume buttons until the safe mode mark appears.
- Determining the harmful application: It can be accessed from Settings, then Applications, then Download, and in modern phones through: Settings, then Applications, then Notifications, then All Applications.
